My name is Katy Toma, and I am the founder of Skills Schools, author of interactive playbooks, and an educational consultant.
I never planned to become an educator; it all started when my own son decided school wasn’t for him. That moment sent us on an incredible journey of discovery, where I learned that children don’t just need information… they need to learn how to learn.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve created programs that spark curiosity, build focus, and make learning feel like play. Today, I help children fall in love with learning, giving them the skills and confidence to explore the world with bright eyes and brave hearts.
